The plant genus Cannabis contains three species; Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica and Cannabis ruderalis.
CBD is derived from specific cultivars of Cannabis sativa, which are bred specifically to contain high levels of CBD and low levels THC. Cannabis sativa, which is below 0.3% THC is classified as hemp.
Our bodies naturally create cannabinoids called Anandamide and 2-AG.
Your body produces its own cannabinoids, but CBD provides a kind of ‘top-up.’
The cannabinoids in CBD bind with the cannabinoid receptors in your body, resulting in a range of effects that reduce pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms. It’s even been suggested that CBD can help protect nerve cells from damage caused by inflammation or trauma.
What is CBD and its effects?
CBD or Cannabidiol is one of over 60 compounds found in Cannabis that belong to a class of ingredients called Cannabidnoids. THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol usually gets most of the attention because it is the ingredient in Cannabis that produces mind-altering effects in users but CBD is also present in high concentrations. CBD is the major non-psychoactive component of Cannabis. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid that is found in high concentrations in certain strains of hemp. Cannabidiol can interact with the human endocannabinoid system and has non-intoxicating effects.
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a complex cell-signaling biological system composed of cannabinoid receptors, internal neurotransmitters (endocannabinoids) and cannabinoid receptor proteins expressed throughout the central nervous system (CB1) and peripheral nervous system (CB2). The ECS is active in regulating a range of functions involved in physiological and cognitive processes and contributes to the homeostasis of the body’s internal environment through modulation of immune, cardiovascular and reproductive systems. The ECS is linked to immunity, sleep, mood, learning and memory, appetite and digestion, metabolism, bone and muscle formation, skin and nerve function and motor control, and therefore plays a significant role in holistic health.
CBD naturally occurs in the hemp plant as Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDa).
CBDa is relatively biologically inactive due to the presence of a carboxyl group (COOH), or acid, composed of a carbon atom bonded to an oxygen atom and a hydroxyl group.
Decarboxylation is a heat-catalyzed chemical reaction that decomposes CBDA into CBD, by releasing the carbon dioxide. This conversion process increases the bioavailability of CBD. Decarboxylation is an essential aspect of the CBD extractions process, wherein exposure to moderate temperatures for an extended period of time activates the therapeutic benefits of CBD for optimal uptake by receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system, without degrading terpenes and other beneficial compounds.
Studies have found that CBD behaves as a non-toxic compound and has many medical benefits.
It has been proven to effective in treating inflammation to more serious conditions such as epilepsy and certain types of cancer.
CBD also has antioxidant activity greater than Vitamin C or Vitamin D.
... About Using CBD:
CBD decreases the ability of the cancer cells to produce energy, leading to the death of the cells.
It also blocks CPR55 signaling, decreasing cancer cell proliferation. CBD also has anti-tumor properties in gliomas and has been used to treat leukemia.
Due to CBD’s anti-inflammatory role, CBD is a therapeutic agent for a variety of inflammatory and pain associated disorders while at the same time promotes bone growth, heart health and lowers incidence of diabetes.
CBD was found to prevent toxic effects of neurotransmitter glutamate and radical oxygen species in the brain; thus, preventing brain cell death.

A study conducted by Washington State University,
LINK: http://fusion.net/how-a-west-african-tribe-uses-weed-to-get-healthy-and-1793848090
revealed that hunter-gatherer tribes who smoked cannabis were less likely to get infected by intestinal worms.
The pygmy tribe referred to as the Aka, live by the Congo basin.
They are also some of the world’s last remaining hunter-gatherers.
400 members of adult Aka participated in the study; this group in particular have a high prevalence of intestinal worms.
The results showed that 70% of males while 6% of females regularly consumed cannabis.
There is a large difference among female users because they have a belief that it would cause danger to the fetuses if cannabis is used while pregnant. It was also found that 95% of the tribe were infected with intestinal worms such as roundworms and hookworms although those that used cannabis regularly had significantly less parasites than those who didn’t use. The researchers stated,
“Worm burden was significantly negatively correlated with THCA, which is consistent with the chemotherapeutic hypothesis of drug use.”
Another interesting fact is that the tribe members who used cannabis regularly were at less risk for reinfection once they were treated with anti-parasitic worm drugs later on. It also appears that the tribe members aren’t consuming cannabis with the intention of self-medicating and to prevent infection although the researchers think that the affinity for cannabis could be a biological matter.
One of the study’s co-authors, Ed Hagen, said,
“In the same way we have a taste for salt, we might have a taste for a psychoactive plant toxins because these things kill parasites.”
Hagen also found out through his previous research that even the heavy tobacco smokers among the tribe has lesser incidence of parasitic intestinal worms. However, the researchers aren’t sure when the Aka may have fist began consuming cannabis, or when it arrived in their continent. They assume that the cannabis was brought by traders from the Indian subcontinent during the first century AD, although Hagen and his colleagues assume that it wasn’t smoked until colonizers from Europe arrived during the 17th century
In 1995, a study was published in the Indian Journal of Experimental Biology.
LINK: http://nopr.niscair.res.in/
The researchers were the first to use scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technology to determine the impact of cannabis on worms. The results revealed that cannabis extracts in varying dosages were effective in causing degenerative, destructive, and even necrotic alterations to parasites. The extract was even found to be more powerful than medicinal versions.
The highly respected cannabinoid scientist and expert Raphael Mechoulam wrote a 1987 essay called Toward Cannabinoid Drugs. In it, he said that cannabis was promising for its antihelmintic properties although “experimental work in this area with cannabinoids has not yet been reported.”
A 2010 report from Uganda also showed that villagers were using cannabis to keep intestinal infections in their chickens at bay. To the villagers in the agricultural region, chickens are an extremely important resource for both meat and eggs. This is just one of the cases that indicate humans may have been using cannabis to treat parasites and infections in their animals for as long as we’ve been medicating ourselves.
In Ayurvedic, Unani, and Siddha medicine, cannabis is part of the traditional wellness system and used as an antihelmintic (medicine to treat parasitic worms) for both cattle and humans. In China, cannabis juice and seeds are used as antihelmintic as well. The famous European herbalist Nicholas Culpeper discussed hemp in his 1653 opus, The Complete Herbal. He says, “hemp is very good to kill the worms in men or beasts.” Before the prohibition in the USA, hash was also used for “expulsion of Tenia” (a type of tapeworm).

In 1992, Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, a professor of medicinal chemistry and natural products at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel, made a startling discovery. He discovered Anandamide, a naturally occurring neurotransmitter in the brain. This was important because after further study, Dr. Mechoulam determined that this neurotransmitter was actually a cannabinoid — the same healing compound found in Hemp. This led to the discovery of 1,000’s of cannabinoids and cannabinoid receptors in our body called the endocannabinoid system. And today thousands of studies confirm it holds the secret to natural healing.
This widespread system of cannabinoids and their receptors are found in our brain, organs, glands, and throughout the entire body. And this system plays a major role in biological processes such as sleep, memory, mood an even pain sensation.
THE SCIENCE OF CBD (CANNABIDOIL)
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) regulates everything from relaxation to eating, sleeping, inflammation and even cognitive function. In a nutshell, the ECS is responsible for making sure the entire body is working optimally.
CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a compound ffound primarily in the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant.
It’s one of many powerful cannabinoids found in hemp, and is known for supporting body and mind in various ways including the ECS.* Here is what the ECS system is known to do:
-
Body: Stimulates the body's response that addresses discomfort and mobility.
Regular use also has been believed to help support joint health, mobility, and flexibility.
-
Brain: Helps positively regulate mood patterns which help provide a calming and relaxing effect.
Supports natural sleep cycles and in some cases may offer a safe remedy for mood and overall wellbeing.
-
Age: Inflammation is a natural killer responsible for all sorts of physical stress, and more.
Inflammation is also a positive mechanism used to heal damaged tissue.
The ECS is a critical part of managing the parts of the body that when finely tuned can help you feel you.

Have you noticed there are over a dozen ways to take hemp oil?
Everything from edibles to vapes are now canvassing the market, but what makes a hemp oil tincture special?
The benefits of hemp oil are mostly attributed to the compound Cannabidiol (CBD).
Although it has been heavily researched since its discovery in 1940, it wasn’t until around 2012 that CBD products began to enter the market.
The very first products were hemp oil tinctures, and they’ve maintained popularity despite an explosion of new options.
Tincture: What is CBD tincture?
T Index
Tinctures have been used in herbal medicine for hundreds of years.
But, as popular as CBD is, the tincture form is one product that isn’t so widely discussed.
Most people have heard of CBD oil, but not everyone understands how it differs from CBD tincture.
First, let’s explain what a tincture is.
In herbal medicine, a tincture oil is a concentrated plant extract made by soaking fresh or dried plant matter in a solvent.
This plant matter usually includes bark, berries, leaves, or roots taken from a plant known to have therapeutic properties.
The solvent used is usually alcohol.
The solvent draws the active ingredients out of the plant into the liquid, creating a concentrated tincture that contains all the therapeutic properties of a plant.
CBD tinctures are made and used in exactly the same way.
The cannabis flowers or isolates are steeped in high-proof grain alcohol, then placed over low heat for a period of time.
This allows the active compounds in cannabis to be infused into the alcohol.
The final product contains a small amount of alcohol along with high-CBD hemp strains.
A true CBD tincture should only include full-spectrum hemp oil.
The tincture is simply a potent liquid that delivers the effects of the cannabinoid molecules without any smoking or other form of combustion. CBD tincture is sometimes referred to as cannabis tincture, but is also known as ‘green dragon’ or ‘golden dragon.’
Some manufacturers may add carrier oils and other complementary ingredients to improve the taste or add to the benefits of the tincture. They’re especially popular for people trying CBD for the first time. And don’t worry about the alcohol --- most of it is boiled off.
Tincture: Is CBD tincture the same as CBD oil?
T Index
No. Although they both contain the same therapeutic properties, CBD tincture is not the same as CBD oil.
For a start, CBD oil is made using carbon dioxide or oil extraction and often uses hemp oil as its carrier oil and base.
CBD tincture has an alcohol base. Sometimes, a manufacturer may use vinegar or glycerin as a solvent instead of alcohol. In any case, the most significant difference is that a tincture will use a liquid solvent to extract the CBD isolates while commercial CBD oil products rely on carbon dioxide.
The methods of ingestion for tinctures and oils are also slightly different.
CBD oil can be used in a vaping device or placed under the tongue to be absorbed sublingually.
It can also be added to foods or beverages. Because of its alcohol base, CBD tincture can also be ingested by adding to foods or beverages; however, it can’t be used in a vaping device. It is more common to take a tincture as a medicine.
Tincture dosage varies from user to user.
Tinctures also tend to have a longer shelf life (around 3–5 years) due to their alcohol content, which acts as a preservative. Alcohol is a very effective way of preserving the freshness and potency of medicinal plants, which makes it very cost-effective for a CBD tincture. To maximize the shelf-life of alcohol-based tinctures, simply store the bottle in a cupboard or out of direct sunlight.
Refrigeration is not necessary. Oil, on the other hand, has a shelf life of 1–2 years.
Another major difference is that CBD tinctures may also utilize other solvents to ‘pull’ the CBD compounds from the hemp material. CBD oils, on the other hand, most commonly use two essential ingredients: CBD isolates and carrier oils.
Tincture: Is Hemp Seed Oil the same as Hemp Oil?
T Index
Hemp seed oil is derived from hemp seeds - like the ones you put in your smoothies - and they're mainly used for dietary purposes. Think something similar to coconut oil. Refined hemp seed oil might also be found in beauty products, as it has been found to have emollient properties.
Hemp oil, what CBD oil is made from, is extracted from the buds of the hemp plant and has nothing to do with the seeds. The hemp buds are the part of the plant that contains the different cannabinoids that affect the human body.
Tincture: Properties of CBD tinctures.
T Index
CBD tinctures tend to use the flower, stalk, and leaves of the cannabis sativa plant.
The process of creating a CBD tincture involves soaking the plant material in high-proof alcohol and heating it slowly for a period of time. This extraction method allows the therapeutic properties of the CBD to infuse with the alcohol. The alcohol is then boiled off, leaving only a concentrated liquid that can deliver CBD compounds when ingested. Some manufacturers may substitute the alcohol with a carrier oil and add other ingredients, such as natural flavorings, to improve the taste.
When seeking a CBD tincture, there are some important properties to look out for.
Composition.
Full-spectrum CBD tinctures contain all of the beneficial terpenes and flavonoids in the cannabis plant.
CBD isolate, on the other hand, contains only CBD.
Origin.
Where a tincture comes from has a lot to do with its quality.
Look for tinctures made in the (locations) where they are more likely to have undergone rigorous testing requirements.
They’re also less likely to contain pesticides or other potentially harmful chemicals.
Extraction method.
Check the label for the method of extraction.
CO2 extraction means the CBD was obtained without the use of harmful chemical solvents, but rather through high-pressure carbon dioxide gas.
It’s also important to note that CBD tincture only contains a very low amount of alcohol in each serving, especially when you consider the dose of the tincture and the percentage of alcohol. For example, 1/4 tsp of the tincture in a product that has 30–35% alcohol equates to about 1/12th of a teaspoon of alcohol: barely 0.41 ml! That’s even less than what you would drink in a 16 oz pint of kombucha, which contains around 2.4 ml ethanol.
Tincture: What are Terpenes?
T Index
Terpenes, or terpenoids as they are also known, are organic compounds found in the essential oils of all plants. They are responsible for each plant’s flavour, colours, and aroma, and the way they do so for the cannabis plant is perhaps the most emphatic of all the members of the plant kingdom. ...
Myrcene has a musky, earthy aroma with fruity notes of mango – a fruit that has high levels of myrcene.
This particular terpene is one of the most common found in cannabis plants.
It is associated with a sedating, relaxing effect.
Two well known strains that are high in myrcene are Kush and White Widow.
Besides Cannabis, this terpene can also be found in bay leaves, ylang-ylang, and parsley, among other plants.
Linalool features an abundance of a floral, sweet, and slightly citrusy aroma that smells distinctly of lavender.
It is renowned for having a calming, sedating effect.
Common strains high in linalool include Skywalker OG, Lavender, and Headband.
Besides cannabis, this terpene can also be found in plants like lavender (obviously), mint, sweet basil, and cinnamon, among many others.
Pinene is the most frequently encountered terpene in nature, and ... it very much smells like pine.
Pinene can work as a THC counteracting agent, and ... conducive to enjoying active & social situations.
Well-known strains high in pinene are Lemon Skunk, OG Kush, and Sour Diesel.
Other than cannabis, pinene also occurs in plants like coniferous trees, and in essential oils like rosemary, eucalyptus, and orange peel oil.
Caryophyllene is quite unique.
The spicy, peppery aroma that characterizes this terpene is concentrated in spices like black pepper and cloves, but can also be found in rosemary and hops. When it comes to cannabis, you’ll find this terpene in Bubba Kush, GSC, and Chemdawg among other strains.
Humulene, like myrcene and pinene, is a fairly common cannabis terpene that appears in many strains.
In addition to cannabis, humulene can also be found in wood and hops.
Scientists are investigating its anti-inflammatory benefits, and its antifungal and antibacterial properties.
Humulene also plays an important role for the cannabis plant, helping to defend it against pests and fungus.
Terpinolene has a rich, complex taste and smell that hints of pine, flowers, herbs and citrus fruit.
It’s a scent associated with freshness. In addition to cannabis, it can be found in tea tree, apples and hygge-inducing spices like nutmeg and cumin.
Limonene is a terpene found in many cannabis strains.
While limonene appears in cannabis, it can also be found jam-packed in naturally-occurring places like citrus rinds and juniper, and also as an additive in cosmetics, perfumes and cleaning products.
Tincture: Common Uses of CBD tinctures.
T Index
Some of the many issues that CBD can be used to treat include:
- Acne
- Anxiety
- Arthritic pain
- Depression
- Inflammation
- Pain
- Muscle tension and spasms
- PMS or other menstrual pain
- Nausea and vomiting
- Nerve-related pain
- Insomnia and other sleep disorders
Tincture: .. why tinctures are popular.
T Index
- They’re easy to use, because they’re crafted in a way that turns hemp extract’s thick, paste-like consistency into a more appealing liquid form.
- It’s easy to add ingredients to a hemp oil tincture, so you’ll often notice beneficial compounds, like terpenes, in the ingredient list that enhance the overall effects.
- You have full control over how small or large your serving sizes are.
The dropper top on a hemp tincture gives you an element of flexibility (not always available) elsewhere.
Tincture: What is a Hemp Oil Tincture?
T Index
A hemp oil tincture is a liquid supplement, taken by mouth, with an active ingredient of CBD.
It’s blended with a carrier oil, such as grapeseed oil, for a smooth consistency and may also contain flavoring or terpenes.
Typically, a tincture comes in a glass bottle with a dropper top.
You may be wondering, why add other ingredients if people are just looking for the benefits of hemp oil?
Well, by itself, hemp oil is a dense and paste-like substance that can stick to your teeth or stain clothing.
By adding in a carrier oil, the consistency becomes more (fluid) and user-friendly.
The downside to tinctures is that, by adding those other ingredients, it essentially “waters down” the CBD content.
In other words, a pure hemp extract (can) contain more CBD (by volume) than a tincture.
But there’s a silver lining.
Tinctures can still contain very potent levels of CBD and they come in larger containers with larger suggested serving sizes, so the amount of CBD you’re getting per serving may still be on par with a pure extract.
Between the ease of use and ability to fully control your serving sizes using the dropper top, it’s no wonder hemp tinctures have been the most popular way to take CBD since day one.
Different Types of Hemp Oil in a Tincture.
T Index
It’s important to be aware that tinctures can be made with different types of hemp extract.
Here are the two most common:
- Full-spectrum, also known as whole-plant, is pure hemp extract containing cannabinoids, terpenes, and trace vitamins or minerals. It’s a thick, dark oil that ranges anywhere from 10-80% cannabinoids. Meaning, when you look at the oil, 10-80% of that content is cannabinoids, and the rest is other compounds from the plant. There are three common types of full-spectrum hemp oil that also affect the color and cannabinoid profile.
- Isolate is created by separating the CBD compound from everything else, so you’re left with straight CBD.
The result is a crystalline, but it’s usually crushed down into a fine white powder that’s easier to work with.
Isolate is 95-99% CBD.
Which one do you think is more common?
Isolate is the most common, primarily because it’s cheaper, but there’s a much higher demand for full-spectrum in the CBD community.
If you’re wondering which one would be better for you, consider this.
Some people find that isolate works excellent for them, while others say it’s less effective than full-spectrum.
This reason for this is a phenomenon called the entourage effect, where the various cannabinoids and terpenes in full-spectrum hemp oil (can) work together for an enhanced effect.
Types of Carrier Oils in a Tincture.
T Index
We mentioned earlier that a tincture contains a carrier, or base, oil to create a smooth, liquid consistency. ...
Tinctures will most often contain one of the following carrier oils:
- MCT (coconut) oil
- Grapeseed oil
- Refined hemp seed oil
- Cold pressed hemp seed oil
- Olive oil
You may wonder why anyone would combine hemp oil with hemp seed oil — doesn’t that add to the confusion between the two?
After all, hemp seed oil doesn’t contain CBD, yet is often labeled as “hemp oil” in the grocery store.
Well, despite that confusion, the impressive nutritional value of hemp seed oil makes it an excellent base that shouldn’t be overlooked. This dark green oil contains the important essential fatty acids, omega-3 and omega-6, as well as other trace vitamins and minerals.
The downside?
Hemp seed oil has a strong, nutty flavor that not everyone enjoys, and that’s difficult to mask with flavoring.
That’s why many tinctures are made with MCT or grapeseed oil instead, which aren’t too flavorful and make it easier to add flavoring.
Using a Hemp Tincture Effectively.
T Index
Using a hemp oil tincture is not quite as straight-forward as you may think, there’s a strategy that should be followed if you want the best results possible.
Tinctures are administered sublingually by placing the drops under your tongue, waiting 60 or more seconds and then swallowing.
Why under your tongue? And why wait?
Placing the oil under your tongue, as opposed to on top or directly swallowing it, is not a precaution but rather a tactic to allow the CBD to absorb into your system quickly and more efficiently.
By waiting before swallowing, you give the CBD time to soak into the capillaries under your tongue.
Think of this as an expressway for CBD to enter the bloodstream, as opposed to the time-consuming absorption process of swallowing a hemp capsule.
As a bonus, you can’t taste hemp oil when it’s under your tongue.
The high concentration of a tincture means it only needs to be taken in very small doses.
Most plant tinctures are in a bottle with a dropper to allow for easy, measured dosing.
The label will usually state the concentration of the tincture and give a rough guide for dosage.
The other great thing about tinctures is that they can be used in lots of different ways.
Just like CBD oil, (this) tincture can be added to food and beverages.
A few drops in a cup of tea or even your soup is all you need to benefit from the relaxing effects of CBD.
Adding it to food also helps to disguise the taste of the hemp, which some people aren’t so fond of.
You can also take your CBD tincture sublingually, just like you would with CBD oil.
Simply apply a few drops under your tongue and wait 1–2 minutes for your mucous membranes to absorb the beneficial compounds. Some research has even shown that this is more efficient for delivering the cannabinoids to your body than other oral methods.
Like CBD oil, most experts recommend taking only one or two servings per day --- especially if you’re new to CBD.
Keep in mind that there’s no ‘standard’ dosage that works for everyone.
It’s best to experiment by starting with small amounts and gradually increasing your dosage until you achieve the benefits you require.
If you’re looking for a topical CBD product, a CBD tincture probably isn’t the best choice.
You would need to blend it with a base such as vitamin E cream before applying it to your skin.
However, there are plenty of topical CBD products on the market now. ...
Tincture: Dosage considerations & Cautions.
T Index
Some providers recommend starting with a 750 mg CBD Oil tincture which suggests 25 mg of CBD per 1 ml serving .
If you are looking to relieve stronger ailments, you might want to explore stronger range products OR try taking larger doses of CBD per serving.
Symptoms of Excessive Use
- Drowsiness
- Light-headedness
- Nausea
- Dry Mouth
- Changes in appetite
- Dizziness
- Digestive pain
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Low blood pressure
- Numbness
- may interact with citrus or fermented products
Tincture dosage varies from user to user.
It also varies according to changes in the health of the person, and, can vary between brands, their production lots and combinations or mixtures, and, how the product has been stored after production (both during warehousing, shipping, and after you received it).
When taken in small doses, users generally experience a somewhat energizing effect,
whereas when taken in higher doses, the effects are significantly that of a sedative.
What Does a Hemp Oil Tincture Look Like?
T Index
There are many shades of CBD hemp oil, it all depends on the type of hemp oil and carrier oil used.
Hemp Oil Colors:
Full-Spectrum: Dark Brown
Broad-Spectrum: Light-Medium Golden
Isolate: Clear
Carrier Oil Colors:
Hemp Seed Oil: Light-Dark Green
MCT (Coconut) Oil: Clear
Grapeseed Oil: Light Yellow
If there’s no hint of color ..., that’s usually a giveaway that’s it’s made with isolate and MCT oil.
The middle-range colors are harder to identify at a glance; however, a dark brown color is a sure sign of full-spectrum hemp oil.
Is employment drug testing a problem?
T Index
Drug testing has become more used in North American business environments.
Most workplace and sporting drug tests screen for THC (delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol) content in your body.
Testing positive for THC in those situations may result in sanction, dismissal, or, warnings.
Most CBD products contain no or almost untraceable amounts of THC.
However, it is known that even eating foods containing hemp (seeds, oil, etc.) can result in positive results for THC, depending on the sensitivity of the test.
If you are using CBD products and have concerns about possible drug testing, you will experience less fear and anxiety and receive more understanding and support from the employer or coach if you confide in them what you are taking, for what use or problem, how you have found it to be beneficial, and how it may stabilize and improve your health and activity performance by lessening, controlling, or excluding demands on your health, focus, and, availability.
What are the Benefits?
T Index
Hemp oil products are sought out for their high level of cannabinoids.
Cannabinoids, like CBD, interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system to support important functions in the brain, central and peripheral nervous system. This system is attributed to maintaining balance in the body by regulating pain-sensation, stress, inflammation, and more.

CBD capsules could help in the treatment of depression because the CBD components appear to have a positive interaction with the serotonin receptors in the brain. However, keep in mind that mixing drugs, herbals, and even some foods can result in a neutral influence, an enhanced effect (of side effects and benefits), or, a reduction of health benefits, or, symptoms.
Mixing CBD with alcoholic beverages, nutritionals (i.e. other tincture) and pharmaceuticals (i.e. cough syrups) tends to amplify the side effects commonly experienced from the excessive use of either or both. These mood and behavior changes are unlikely to be health enhancing and could exposure you to communication, relationship, and law enforcement problems.
Symptoms related to illness conditions which you already have, while often benefited, may worsen IF you take too much CBD for your health dynamics. That is, a personalized dose can be discovered by taking differing strengths and noting the results relative to time of day, other medications, intensity of illness symptoms, and changes in your illness dynamics (either improving, or, worsening).
The number, frequency, and prevalence of such reactive and responsive potential symptoms runs the breadth of all and any symptoms you may be experiencing already from challenged health conditions. This is a possible complication of Side Effects that may arise, on a personal and individual basis, IF you take too much CBD at any one, or multiple time.

Attitude and Reactive Behaviors can encourage, and increase in intensity, the development of any Addiction. Through personality tendencies, advertising imprinting, and the endemic inadequacy of dealing with many factors including fear, anxiety, frustration, confusion, and conflict ... one may take a pharmaceutical, herbal supplement, CBD or other tincture in expectation of an immediate relief. If the expected and promoted relief fails to materialize, or seems inadequate, many people will simply multiply their dosage. If SOME is not working, perhaps MORE will impose improvements. This may be beneficial in an immediate term, though often, it can encourage our physical system to build a Resistance to the potential benefits, or, even Magnify our symptoms. This can happen with ANY substance, including foods and behaviors.
An Attitude of Self-Direction, Self-Evaluation, Self-Restraint, and Patience is far more beneficial
Some substances and combinations may take longer to demonstrate a Response in YOUR physical system than others do, or than is more commonly experienced by others. IF after a period of time there appears to be no noticeable response, one may elect to increase their dosage with a keen awareness of both any beneficial, or, destructive results. ANY changes in dosage are here encouraged to be confirmed as beneficial and safe by using experienced Muscle Testing techniques, or, Spiritual Guidance feedback. In these actions, one must have experienced demonstrated consistent accuracy in previous test results, or, one may simply be unconsciously projecting one's assumptions, expectations, and misinterpretations. The critical CHOICE in Avoiding building an addictive habit, is to know and decide, early, when to STOP or Reduce a dosage because it is not providing a sustained benefit.
Article: CBD Oil vs. CBD Tincture.

Ben Carson --- Updated on March 18, 2020
If you are new to the world of Cannabidiol, you may feel overwhelmed with the sheer number of product types.
A few years ago, there were few options. Today, you can buy CBD oil, tinctures, edibles, topicals, drinks, bath bombs, and much more. It is an unregulated, multi-billion-dollar industry, which makes things tough for the consumer.
The enormous level of misinformation doesn’t help matters, either.
We have lost count of the number of times we have seen the phrase ‘CBD oil is legal in all 50 states’, for example.
For the record, individual states make it challenging to purchase Cannabidiol.
Also, few states have legislation that legalizes CBD explicitly.
Many consumers are also confused by the products themselves.
A prime example is when you see a CBD oil tincture and a CBD oil sold as separate products on the same website.
Is there a difference? Moreover, if there is, how significant is it?
We aim to answer these questions and more in this article.
What Is CBD Oil?
In many cases, we find that the terms ‘CBD oil’ and ‘CBD tincture’ are used interchangeably.
There are, in fact, a few subtle differences between the two, which we outline a little later on.
The fact that both options are often sold in similar bottles with droppers only adds to the confusion.
Brands craft CBD oil via an extraction process that removes the oil from a hemp plant’s flowers.
In starts with MMJ programs, you may find that CBD comes from strains such as Charlotte’s Web.
There are several methods of extraction.
Some brands use a solvent such as butane; this isn’t the best option because it could leave behind harmful residue.
Supercritical CO2 extraction is a much safer and cleaner method.
Generally speaking, the oil contains a higher percentage of CBD than most products.
There are plenty of products that include a whopping 100 mg of CBD per ml.
To consume the product, you place the substance beneath your tongue.
There, the mucous membrane absorbs it; proponents of this method claim that you benefit from a higher absorption rate.
A significant number of people use this product because they say it promotes a feeling of relaxation within minutes.
For others, these effects occur almost immediately. In some cases, oils contain a variety of nutrients, including fatty acids, flavonoids, and vitamins. Full-spectrum products also contain additional cannabinoids and terpenes. Not everyone enjoys the bitter taste of CBD oil taken from organically grown hemp.
What Is a CBD Tincture?
The primary difference between a CBD tincture and oil lies in their respective makeups.
Calling a product, a ‘CBD oil tincture’ complicates things, but there may be a slight distinction.
A tincture is a liquid extract combined with added ingredients such as cinnamon or peppermint oil and vegetable glycerin (VG).
Manufacturers create CBD tinctures by soaking all of the hemp’s organic matter in an alcohol or water solution.
After a period of up to a few weeks, the plant’s natural compounds soak into the solution.
Once there are enough cannabinoids, the company strains the liquid through a filter.
The idea is to ensure that the bitter, chlorophyll-laden plant matter is left behind.
In general, a ‘tincture’ is any medicine kept in an alcohol solution.
Those who use tinctures claim that it offers a more appealing taste than its oil counterpart.
It is also a versatile option because you can add it to food or drink yourself.
However, we don’t advise you to use a tincture in fat-soluble food such as butter because alcohol doesn’t mix well with fats.
If a tincture contains VG, you may believe it is suitable for vaping.
After all, vape juices contain VG and other thinning agents.
However, it is hazardous to use a CBD tincture in a vaporizer.
There will potentially be residual alcohol, which means it could cause serious issues when exposed to heat.
But many users think a CBD tincture for pain is useful.
What Is Better – CBD Oil or Tincture?
There is no definitive ‘winner’ in this battle. They both have distinct benefits.
For instance, a CBD tincture often has a more pleasant taste due to the added ingredients.
The vast majority of people prefer the taste of peppermint to plant matter!
You can use a tincture sublingually, or add it to food or drink.
CBD oil is often more potent, albeit more expensive, on average.
Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of both.
CBD Oil – Pros and Cons
Pros
It is usually created via supercritical CO2 extraction.
As a result, you get a cleaner and purer product.
High-quality oil is more potent than its tincture counterpart.
Often with no additional ingredients, you get more bang for your buck.
The CBD is suspended in inert oil and remains unaffected when digested.
CBD oil is versatile. Manufacturers use it inside capsules, and even add thinning agents to create vape juice.
It is easier to create CBD isolate during the manufacturing process when oil is involved.
Cons
CBD oil is among the most expensive forms of the product.
When unflavored, the bitterness of oil is off-putting to some consumers.
When you add CBD oil to food, it potentially alters its properties.
CBD Tinctures – Pros and Cons
Pros
It is ideal for adding to food or drink because its plant taste isn’t as strong as oil.
Users often prefer consuming a CBD oil tincture instead of CBD oil beneath the tongue.
Once again, this is because of the more pleasant taste.
You will find it easier to create DIY tinctures at home.
Cons
Its alcohol content means you must not try to vape it.
It is also less ‘clean’ than CBD oil extracted via supercritical CO2 extraction.
On average, (tincture) is not as potent as CBD oil.
Differences Between CBD Oils and Tinctures
The primary difference, one could argue, lies in the extraction method.
Some CBD oil manufacturers use a solvent such as butane when extracting the cannabinoid.
However, we don’t recommend purchasing from such providers.
There is a risk of some solution remaining in the liquid.
Do you want to consume the solvent every time you use ‘natural’ CBD oil?
It is imperative that you only buy oil from brands that use supercritical CO2 extraction.
It is the ‘gold standard’ for a reason. Carbon dioxide is far healthier than a solvent, and no residue is left behind.
The result is a product containing CBD, terpenes, cannabinoids, and no nasty toxins.
In contrast, a CBD tincture uses alcohol as the solvent.
It takes a lot longer to complete the process.
You must place the plant matter in alcohol for days, perhaps weeks.
If you try to make it at home, there is every chance that unpleasant tasting residue remains.
Maybe it is best to let the experts take care of it!
What About Cost?
On average, a CBD oil tincture is less expensive than its CBD oil counterpart.
The primary reason is due to the relatively low cost of extraction.
Yes, a brand will have specialized equipment, but it doesn’t cost a lot to operate.
In contrast, supercritical CO2 extraction equipment can cost a small fortune.
Even a small machine exceeds $20,000. Industrial-scale models typically exceed $400,000!
You also need to find people with the skill to use the machinery.
Is There Anything Else?
Another noticeable difference lies in CBD oil’s taste.
An increasing number of brands are trying to add ‘flavor’ to their oils.
They know that consumers are not wild about the bitter taste of hemp.
In contrast, it is common to add flavoring to tinctures.
You may also find that some companies add terpenes and cannabinoids to enhance potency.
Full-spectrum CBD oils already have these added compounds as a rule.
There is the potential to ‘vape’ CBD oil if you add the right thinning agents.
Otherwise, it is too thick and will clog up the vaporizer.
It is incredibly unwise to try and vape a CBD tincture.
The alcohol content means you are playing with fire when it combusts!
You can add both options to food and drink; however, the superior taste of a tincture means most people prefer it to oil for this particular process.
Final Thoughts on CBD Oil vs. Tincture
Ultimately, there is no clear ‘winner’ in the CBD oil vs. tincture debate.
Each option has specific advantages and disadvantages.
CBD oil is arguably a better option if you want a straightforward method of consuming Cannabidiol.
You place it beneath the tongue, hold it for up to 90 seconds, and swallow.
A CBD tincture is potentially more versatile.
You can add it to food and drink more readily than oil because it offers a pleasant taste due to added flavoring.
If you are concerned about what you put into your body, CBD oil is the option for you.
Make sure the brand in question uses supercritical CO2 extraction during the process.
It almost guarantees a pure and clean product. In contrast, the alcohol in CBD tinctures may not appeal to all.
Regardless of which one you choose, make sure you only deal with a reputable brand.
Only buy from a company that offers third-party lab reports with their products.
Through this process, you can view what is inside each batch.
Information should include cannabinoid and terpenes content.
An Aside: Hemp Seed Oil for Skin Benefits.

According to Healthline.com and Dr. Josh Axe, Doctor of Natural Medicine:
* Hemp oil counteracts aging skin.
One of the omega-6 fatty acids that hemp oil contains is gamma-linolenic acid which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory while
encouraging skin growth and new cell generation. In addition to calming inflammation, it may also help lessen irritation on the skin, including acne and some conditions like psoriasis and eczema, while keeping the skin nourished and moisturized. Hemp oil may help reduce fine lines, wrinkles and prevent signs of aging.
* Hemp seed oil is an incredible source of protein, healthy fats and fiber, making hemp seed oil boost metabolism and support weight loss.
* Hemp seed oil contains high levels of the essential fatty acids omega-6 & omega-3 in the ratio 3:1.
These essential fatty acids reduce cholesterol levels in the blood which may help prevent heart disease.
* The essential fatty acids in hemp seed oil are required by the body to synthesize endocannabinoids whose function is to strengthen your immune system
Hemp SEED Oil is a good NUTRITIONAL,
though it has neither the THC of marijuana in it nor the CBD of hemp (flower) oil in it.

... Hemp is grown in most industrialized countries, including the United States.
Most hemp grown in the U.S. is grown for CBD, a popular nutritional supplement with many benefits.
Slowly, U.S. farmers are producing more acres of hemp in the U.S. for other uses, including food.
Many other countries typically grow hemp for industrial use (construction, textiles, etc.) and for food.
Outside of the United States, Canada has the best quality hemp grown for food.
This is not only because of the taste of the hemp strain that Canadian farmers use, but also because of the strict regulations that the Canadian government enforces.
Canadian farmers can only plant hemp seed varieties listed under Health Canada’s List of Approved Cultivars.
Canadian farmers also don’t plant GMO seeds or use pesticides when farming hemp.
In general, you should avoid hemp grown in China or most other countries when selecting hemp foods.
China doesn’t regulate hemp producers as strictly as Canadian farmers.
An easy way to tell the difference between Canadian hemp and others is by taste.
Make sure to check labels to ensure the hemp is from Canada or the U.S.! ...
For YOU : How to FIND the Products that are Best for You.

Get a Strategy.
The products that are BEST for YOU will change over time.
YOUR Health will change. Your LOCATION will change.
The Products AVAILABLE will change. The SUPPLIERS will change.
The REGULATIONS will change. The DELIVERY dynamics will change.
You can only Choose how you will RESPOND to these changes.
Accepting that these are REAL possibilities changes Frustration to Opportunity.
KNOWING that you can follow and personally adjust a STRATEGY to finding a Benefit will bring Success.
1. Gain SKILL of Accuracy of Choice.
Either develop an accurate use of Muscle Testing, Pendulum use, or Access to Spiritual Guidance.
If that is not possible, find someone who has developed at least one of these, and ask them to work with you.
Without the aid of these Awareness Expanding practices, any choice you make is pure Guess.
Yes, we have been imprinted, educated, and rewarded for believing that Rationalization ensures success.
The reality is that Rationality, as practiced by most people is little more than superstition, projection, assumption.
How important is your health and your budget? The more important they are, the more important Accuracy is over waste.
Every well structured scientific study conducted on the benefits of Rationalization has shown an accuracy rate of LESS than 50%.
2. Know the Basics.
No store owner is going to educate you about the variabilities in the product or in their stock.
Until you know much of what is presented in this document, you will not know what to be AWARE of.
3. Choose HOW you will buy.
Will you look to buy exclusively online?
Will you endeavour to have a personal touch of going to LOCAL stores?
Will you consider both online purchasing and local retailers?
How LONG are you willing to wait for the benefits? Deliveries can now be delayed to 6 WEEKS!
Which country, province, state are you in? It will likely limit WHO can sell and deliver to you?
What can you pay with? Cash? Credit? Cheque? Debit? BitCoin? Money Order? Other?
There are retailers who will only accept one or two of these means of payment.
4. What do you want the product to DO?
Are you seeking health maintenance, health improvement, health stabilization, increased pleasure?
Are you seeking to modify, improve, or dispense with one or more illnesses and symptoms?
Different products best address specific and different requirements and desires.
Picking a product that can be effective for a symptom you don't have is not success.
Know yourself as best as possible. Have tests and therapies revealed specifics?
Know what you have and know what you want before searching for a solution.
Purchasing because a product works for someone else is like assuming you can live THEIR life.
Ditch the fantasies promoted by advertising & testimonials. Find and pursue Your REALITY.
5. A suggested STRATEGY.
a. Will this KIND of product (CBD) be a Benefit for YOU, now?
b. What are the possibilities in terms of Brands, Strains, Combinations, Forms, ....
c. There are 3 main Approaches: Online, Local, Both. Choose YOURS.
d. Which degree of EFFECTIVENESS are you willing to accept.
---- Effectiveness often relates to Cost. How much are you willing to pay?
---- Availability can relate to degree of effectiveness. The best available to you may not be the BEST.
---- It may be a choice between what is 3rd best, yet available, or nothing ... until later.
---- The degree of your Patience and Urgency can relate to your acceptance of degree of effectiveness.
---- A Relevant choice may be best: buy best available for now; buy BEST for you, later.
e. How much Time and Effort do you have?
----- If time and/or effort are minimal, you may find your options are availability, ease of acquisition, cost.
----- More effort and time do not guarantee a better choice. Someone else may details and a strategy you can use.
f. When you START and how Persistent you are will determine how soon you will experience Benefits.
---- Never starting equals no benefits. Starting and stopping equals delayed benefits. Futility equals failure.
---- Do your Best; leave the rest.
You are going on a Journey.
You don't know what you will find.
You know that there may be Benefits to have.
You are going to Plan for your journey to avoid Confusion & misdirection.
You are going to take as few or many steps as necessary to reach the BEST.
IF this form or type of product is best for you, that may be your First Question.

In the most general of terms, CHOOSING a CBD product that will be effective (ACTIVE), and efficient (COST) for YOU is unlike the purchase of most other products. Many factors for consideration are included in the Section: -Reality: What I was able to determine, overall.
Ideally, you will have developed the skill of either using Muscle Testing, or, Spiritual Guidance, accurately, to determine which BRAND, Variation, Size, Form, and perhaps Vendor is BEST for you to buy to assist your CURRENT state of health. That will change as your health changes, and, as products and vendors change in their accessibility to you. If you do not have the skills mentioned, look for someone who has these and endeavor to have them assist you.

Our proprietary genetics allow us to naturally create a whole plant CBD extract that is highly concentrated in CBD and contains significant amounts of secondary cannabinoids like CBC, CBG, CBN, and more. Cannabinoids work synergistically with each other and are more effective when they are found together versus when they are isolated. This is known as the entourage effect.
We use advanced subcritical and supercritical CO2 extraction to obtain a complete range of cannabinoids, terpenes, essential oils, and other beneficial phytonutrients. This yields a more potent blend and requires no harsh chemical solvents. CO2 is safe to use in food products and is commonly found in carbonated beverages.

Ingredients.
Our hemp extracts are rich in many cannabinoids, beyond cannabidiol (CBD), and contain a host of terpenes as well.
Cannabinoids present in our extracts include, but are not limited to, testable amounts of CBD, CBG, and CBC.
Present terpenes in our extracts include but are not limited to, testable amounts of alpha-Pinene, beta-Myrcene, beta-Pinene, d-Limonene, Linalool, beta-Caryophyllene, and alpha-Humulene.
Each of these cannabinoids and terpenes enhances the overall therapeutic effect of CBD and this is why they are very important to the quality of our products. The presence of these accompanying cannabinoids and terpenes, in addition to CBD, is referred to as “Full Spectrum.”
Concentration Breakdown
Full Bottle – 30 mL – 500 mg CBD
A firm press of dropper = 1mL = 17 mg CBD (30 doses per bottle)
One slow, steady drop of this oil contains roughly 0.378 mg of CBD
3 Drops are roughly 1mg CBD, 6 drops are roughly 2 mg CBD, 14 drops are roughly 5mg CBD
Extraction Method.
Pure ethanol is the only solvent we use during extraction.
The resulting oil is heat purged to ensure it is completely ethanol free before being added to our products.
Third Party Testing.

Using hemp grown on our own Lazarus Farms, we render CBD-rich extract from the plant using an ethanol-based process. Then we refine the extract via fractional distillation and crystallization into CBD isolate.
All of our CBD tinctures are third-party tested for potency, pesticides and heavy metals. Our testing process ensures we offer a product that is natural, safe and consistent. All test results are available under the Test Results tab.
They also have CBD capsules, pure isolate powder and other products.

Foreign Transaction Fees on Orders:
US domestic banks have decided to stop working with the CBD industry, which has forced us to transfer our payment processing through a UK-based company. We're still 100% US grown and operated -- and in the meantime, we are doing what we can to get back to processing payments within the states.
Sets are nonrefundable.
(Does NOT currently ship to Canada)
This exclusive set is great for those new to CBD or for those who like a little bit of everything.
This set includes
- a 1000 mg CBD tincture,
- Cold Therapy Hemp Rub, and
- a 750 mg CBD Capsules.
Full-spectrum
There are so many products in our industry sold as full-spectrum, but are in fact not a true full-spectrum product.
Companies (may) dilute their full-spectrum hemp extracts with CBD isolates to boost CBD concentration, or, even worse, they simply market CBD isolates as full-spectrum. At Populum, we are proud to only use full-spectrum extracts so you’re getting the most natural, effective products available.
Method of Extraction.
We use a distillate process for our extraction methodology.
The distillation process goes through two steps:
--- Food-Grade Ethanol Alcohol Extraction and a Fractionalized Distillation.
This method cleans the oil of all waxes, lipids, and chlorophyll.
Our diluted distillate is a true full-spectrum oil that includes both high levels of phytocannabinoids and terpenes.
Ingredients.
- Hemp Extract (CBD)
- Grapeseed oil,
- hempseed oil,
- coconut oil,
- cold-pressed orange oil and
- stevia extract.
The amount of stevia depends on the concentration that you get. Here's the breakdown:
Basic 250 bottle: 4.2 mg total
Signature 500 bottle: 5.6 mg total
Advanced 1000 bottle: 5.6 mg total
Testing & Certification.
We triple test our products for quality and purity.
... we lab test at every step of the formulation process: 3 times!
This is unique to the industry, where most brands only test their products once.
To help customers understand what they’re taking, we provide a copy of our lab results in every box.
Why do I need a 30-day trial?
LINK: https://populum.com/pages/riskfreetrial
Not all bodies are the same.
CBD oil is still a new product for most people, and first-timers will have no idea whether or not CBD oil can give them their desired results. We also know that our customers are putting a lot of faith in us. Our goal is to deliver on that faith through quality products, and we want to give you the chance to test that out before making a decision.
One of the main tennants of Populum is that we're here to help people access and discover CBD without any strings attached. That’s where the 30-day trial comes in. If you don’t like it, you can return it - no questions asked.
The 30-day trial applies to only one product per customer.
If this is your first time trying CBD, we suggest ordering one product to try first before exploring more.
If you do choose to order multiple, only one product will be eligible for a refund at the end of your trial period.
Subscriptions.
Customers who use CBD on a regular basis can make it easier on themselves and subscribe to Populum.
Subscribers save 20% on items they choose to have delivered, and we’ll make sure your order is at your door every month.
To sign up for a subscription, visit the product you'd like to subscribe to and select "Monthly" when you add the item to your cart.
Shipping., to USA customers.
We offer two different options for shipping via USPS.
Free Standard Shipping: First-Class mail is provided to you at no cost and will arrive in 5-7* business days.

In comparison to other intake methods, such as smoking or vaporizing,
cannabis oil provides patients more precise dosing and longer lasting effects.
In comparison to inhaled cannabis, ingested cannabis oil is processed differently in the body.
This results in a gradual onset of effects (.5 to 2.0 hrs vs .5 hours) that are longer-lasting. (6 hours vs 1.5)
Ingredients.
MCT oil
Cannabis
‘MCT’ stands for Medium Chain Triglycerides.
This is a naturally occurring oil that is used widely in foods, pharmaceuticals, and nutritional supplements.
- MCT oil is highly stable, with a 2-3 year shelf life. Unlike most natural oils, MCT oil will not go rancid.
- MCT oil is flavourless, odourless, and has no level of toxicity.
- Unlike other carrier oils, such as coconut oil, MCT oil is non-allergenic.
- MCT oil is non-GMO.
- MCT oil is highly permeable in the human body,
---- which will effectively aid in the absorption of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids.

Review:
LINK: https://www.bestcbdoils.com/solei-free/
The recommended dosage of CBD by a lot of experts is 10 mg, so with this oil you would be taking 1 ml to get that dosage.
There is a 1 ml dropper included with the Solei Free oil making it easy to get the right amount (assuming you want to go with the 10 mg of CBD).
... As with most low THC CBD oils, you won’t really feel much when taking Solei Free, but over the course of the first few days you may start to notice that your mood is changing and you are feeling better.
Personally I started to feel a bit more relaxed, happy, and had less anxiety.
It was tough to tell if this was a placebo affect from taking the CBD oil, but after months of experience with CBD oil now I am pretty confident the oil is helpful. ...
The main reason I’ve made Solei Free my choice is the price of the oil.
A 30 ml bottle costs just $20.95 right now. As a 10 mg of CBD/day user that is less than a dollar per day for me.

INDEX
Reality: What I was able to determine, overall.
INDEX
This is a larger, more detailed outline of the INTRODUCTION.
Introduction
This is one of the more complex and caution requiring enhancement articles I have assembled with Spiritual Guidance.
First, Brands and varieties offered of Hemp Oil Tinctures can change in Quality and composition by the LOT!
Next, only by muscle testing or Spiritual Guidance will you likely find what is best for you NOW from what is available to you.
Also, What is BEST for you today may NOT be Best when it comes time for you to reorder. Buy ONE bottle at a time.
And, what is BEST for you may not be best for anyone else you know unless they are your genetic clone with all your energy blocks, imprinting, lifestyle, aptitudes, and surrounding personal and physical environment.
Suggested POSSIBLE Products:
The selection of products and retailers included in this report are here to demonstrate how INDIVIDUAL the selection of a Prodct is for a person. Those included below were selected while reviewing popular Cannabis product websites, and, visiting local-to-me (Southern Alberta, Canada) retailers. At each location or website, product listings were scanned for their BENEFIT to either, some, or all of 3 persons (Indicated by the initials D, J, and L. As you may notice, there are usually FEW of the hundreds that were reviewed that are BEST for any ONE of these persons. Often, a store or online vendor had NO products that were suitable for more than ONE of these 3 persons.
This is an indication of how much effort YOU may be required to make in order to find one or more Products that are BEST for you. Keep in mind that whatever these selections are NOW, they may change in the future as your health improves, or, worsens. That is, you may find such a PERSONAL selection to include, exclude your current findings, while potentially adding other Brands and one or more of their products.
INGREDIENTS:
Online or in a retail store, what is in a particular product is largely concealed.
Reviewing and purchasing products in a Retail store always left me with the ingredients, if they were available at all, being listed on the label, or even UNDER the label, on the bottle in the box. If you wanted to know the composition, not in terms of proportional quantities, but simply as to what was included in the mix ... you had to buy the product. No opening of sealed packaging, as you find for any products on sale elsewhere. And, almost all websites would also be bereft of any listing of the ingredients beyond that of perhaps nominal reference to "cannabis", and, "carrier oil".
Unless you have the financial capacity, persistence, and faith in the BASIC ingredient to experiment with many brands and varieties, the only ECONOMICAL way to choose a Cannabis product that will be Best for YOU, is to follow the Strategy I outline, with an emphasis on using Muscle Testing, Pendulum indications, and/or Spiritual Guidance. Much less than 1% of the population have a skill in using ANY of these testing techniques.
LOCATION:
I found few Directories listing CBD Tincture Venders.
In Lethbridge, a city in southern Alberta (province of Canada), where there are likely a dozen vendors, there is neither a listing of the physical shops nor their locations and phone numbers in the local Yellow Pages. Often, there is added confusion between which Vendors ONLY sell marijuana products, hemp products, or both. Add to these variables that some vendors ONLY market within their resident country, and that others may market internationally, but, NOT to yours. Or, there is added difficulties in the often undisclosed reality that selling to you outside of their home country (borders) is likely to result in added fees (duties or brokerage), and to extended transportation delays, and to transactional fees for credit card usage ... and getting product can seem quite obstructed.
For the novice, finding local Vendors, without actually scouting for them on the streets, is difficult.
First, if your travels do not take you past them, you may not be aware of their existence.
Without a cross reference where you can find their NAME, Phone number, and/or website, contact is poor unless you walk into their store and ask them for these details. That can mean that you have no reference of WHAT, How Many Varieties, the Quality of their product, and whether you are likely to be either unresponsive or hyper-responsive to their products ... until you enter their store. Without considerable effort and time, that does not allow for comparison shopping based on any combination of Price, Variety (Ingredients), Quality, or Availability. A Vendor may have less than a dozen varieties and sizes of product, or can have over 100.
The PHYSICAL store locations mentioned in this article are locations which were available to the author in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Find store locations which are best for you and according to where you may travel to by using some of the Location LINKS provided in this profile.
Often, when searching a Directory for Vendors who could serve a specific location (city, small town, rural) I was met with a large list of Logos and Links with NO reference to whether the Vendor was PHYSICALLY located nearby, or solely mail order by Internet access. This resulted in long lists of Vendors referenced to SMALL towns of largely, or totally online sources. Finding a LOCAL physical store became more difficult rather than less. Too much irrelevant information often sabotages the use and determination of what you can and might use. Using more detailed Search parameters can help, IF the Search Engine you are using has ever, or continues to use the Boolean or similar equations that make such possible.
From Internet SEARCHES, the results one receives will depend HIGHLY upon which Search Engine is being used.
While known for over a decade by website coders, software users, and website owners ... the general public continue to be totally ignorant of the Google scenario for making money at the expense of any User-Beneficial indexing policy. Essentially, with Google especially, if you start a website that is not an .info or .edu categorized site, and you do not respond to the almost immediate INVITATION from Google to ALLOW them to Remove you from THEIR listing of Dangerous websites, you will be unlikely to find yourself in any Searches.
To ACCEPT their Invitation is to enable Google to place THEIR coding sequences on ALL of your webpages.
I have encountered some webpages in which this ADDITIONAL source coding occupied 90% of the page coding, and cycled 3 times with Identity tracking and advertising pushes, BEFORE loading the website owner's content to the display of the visitor. The website owner will not receive any monetary benefit for this, yet, Google will IDENTIFY each of your website users and record their movements in a history file. In addition, whether you pay Google to host ads to your site and receive payment for click-throughs on ads from OTHER sources, and, pay Google for click throughs on YOUR ads, Google will encourage YOUR visitors, YOUR prospects, and YOUR customers ... to visit the website of someone their Artificial Intelligence (AI) software considers to be your Competitor. Many other Search Engines are independent of advertising profiteering and coercive webpage altering tactics. If you want their Searches, you must know of them and use them on a primary basis. That is, an excellent LOCAL vendor may never be represented on Google, even though they have a website.
A "Finding a LOCAL Retail Location" TIP from a local retailer representative was to SEARCH Google Maps.
On the other side of the Google equation from the foregoing, ANY retailer and website owner who agrees to the Acceptability criteria of Google ($$$) does get a mention in the listing that are presented in these GOOGLE Searches, for Cannabis stores. Unfortunately, the SMALL LOCAL retailer I found, who mentioned that Google had contacted him after they had received numerous requests about his store ... is NOT in the listing ... perhaps because he does not have a website and the reason to PAY Google.
PRODUCT VARIABILITY.
If one is going to have the Best Benefit, personally, from using a CBD Tincture, they are best to have access to a wide variety of products, both by Vendor and across the spectrum of who is available to them. Physical stores may carry a number of brands or only one. If a number of brands are available, the full range of products made by that Grower/Producer are unlikely to be on hand. Grower/Producers often have websites which MAY offer both Retail and Wholesale purchasing as well as Affiliate sales. Some of these will only offer Wholesale with a directory to Retail locations near you ... which may NOT include anything beyond the Host country.
Even if you find a Brand that is best for you NOW, you may have more difficulty in finding one or more products that are suitable for you in your PRESENT health. Health Enhancing products, for you, may change over time both because of your health changes, and, because of lot differences or changes in the formulation of the products themselves. Some physical stores may carry one, several, or many products from a Brand. Just because they carry many products under one Brand does not mean that they will carry a lot of products under all brands, or even any other brands. One physical store I went into had only ONE CBD tincture, and ONE CBD oil, under different brands. The agent did not seem to be aware that a CBD OIL was NOT a CBD Tincture.
Physical stores, everywhere, have overhead costs ... rent, store furnishings, product display cabinets, purchase technology, phones, utilities, construction upgrades, locks and security, personnel wages, interest on borrowed funds, product invoicing and packaging, parking space, signage, advertising .... There is a financial encouragement for the owners to only provide products which have a higher margin for them, sell easier and faster, and for which they must not pay a wholesale price before sale. That can often translate into fewer brands, incomplete product lines, and, few CBD and Hemp Seed Oil products relative to Marijuana products and devices. One store I went into had hundreds of Marijuana products and 2 CBD products. Like many similar product stores, Brands may only accept orders from individual stores according to minimum total cost, minimum order size per product, minimum order total cost, or, frequency. All these factors and realities contribute to finding one or more Specific products that will WORK best, or at all, for YOU.
PAYMENT.
While many sites accept credit cards, some do not, and others have a Transaction Fee applied if you use one.
A few websites offer BitCoin. Some encourage payment by CASH with you sending it through the mails with a Registered or Signature Required service. Sometimes, both by mail and in person at a physical store, a purchaser will be offered, or can request, a Discount for Cash payment.
The Canadian Cannabis Lottery.
Since 2017, each province in Canada has created a constantly changing set of regulations for the sale of cannabis products, and, various administrative, government wholesale monopolies, and distribution quotas and retail store limitations in numbers. Frequently, government corporations, often extending from or allied with the current Liquor and Gaming Control organizations, assigned a limited number of retail licenses qualified by a lottery system. Histories of those in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan tend to be most reported in the media and on the Internet. To fully understand the CURRENT state of these systems of regulation and distribution would require extensive time, effort, and discernment. As an example of the dynamic nature of this field, news stories regarding significant changes to the Province of Ontario organization have occurred as recently as September 09 and 10, 2020.
LINK: Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario.
It is perhaps not surprising that recent (October, 2019) statistics noted for the sale of Cannabis products across Canada suggest that market is fragmented, confusing, and disorienting to the retail consumer who has not yet found a personal preference of Brand(s) and Vendor(s).
The black market remained persistent, according to an October 2019 report, partly because of a lack of retail outlets in many communities and because of the lower prices charged of illicit product: 35% lower on a Canada-wide basis. An independent cannabis research firm estimated that Canada-wide, the black market accounted for 86% of cannabis sales.

A personal understanding (2020-09) by a Lethbridge, Alberta retailer of the lottery system they must obtain their products and retail in may not be totally accurate, yet does deserve some acknowledgement. George noted that availability of product to him for provision to customers was confined to a provincial lottery system. The lottery worked on the basis that retailers bid for Brands and Varieties of products to obtain them from a provincial government monopoly on wholesaling what was available from government regulated producers. Whoever offered to pay the HIGHEST amount for the product received it. According to how much product was available and how much the higher bidders wanted, product could be acquired by a number of high bidders.
Some cautionary realities to the above described system is that the province stands to make the greatest profit margin on the supply by purchasing from growers at a government determined price, and then sell to retailers at the highest price they are willing to pay. This scenario does, straightforwardly, ensure that the consumer is exposed to higher pricing than would be present in a less monopolized and regulated market. It also results in frustration in the marketplace for the customers of GEORGE may find a preference for a particular BRAND and product which GEORGE had earlier, yet can no longer get access to. Within my local area of Lethbridge, Alberta, I have found Cannabis retail stores within a block or two of each other. Competitively, store chains with multiple locations, higher investment, greater access to product, a likelihood of more glitsy on premises presentation, and more visible higher rent locations ... are likely to sell more product, at HIGHER prices, than smaller local owned stores.
Medical Document.
If you would like to purchase Cannabis products as medical supplements, especially online, you will require a Medical Document.
This is a requirement of Shoppers Drug Mart.
It's a form completed by a physician/nurse practitioner which authorizes a patient's use of medical cannabis.
You can quickly get your medical document online using telemedicine.
LINK: https://sdm.hellomd.com/
It takes approximately 30 minutes and involves no fee.
You connect by Video/Chat (video enabled computer or smartphone) with a practitioner and answer questions.
Commonly accepted ailments as justification for a Medical Document include these:
CHRONIC PAIN --- ARTHRITIS --- PTSD --- INSOMNIA --- DEPRESSION --- OPIOID DEPENDENCY
Your consultation is free. There are no charges or hidden fees.
An often repeated pattern, the political dissociation between the potential health harm and benefit, and, the need created by a health and economic system which encourages endemic expressions of chronic illness and depression ... has resulted in regulated and administrative complexities which enable government profiteering, sustained social and health problems, and, more complex policing. Finding a DEPENDABLE source of a QUALITY Cannabis product which IS beneficial to an individuals health is very complex and uncertain ... and only encourages a sustained presence of blackmarket vendors.

UP to Top
Articles on the Internet are transitory.
The publishers may remove them, change sites, change URLs, or change titles.
For the purpose of maintaining an availability of these articles for myself and you, I have reprinted parts in the relevant monographs with authorship maintained, coding simplified for error-free loading and minimal file size, and a LINK to the original document. Identity trackers and advertising bots have been removed from the original bloated and manipulative coding. NOTHING in writing is absolute; don't treat human opinion, projection, and observation as an Idol. Doing so can kill you, or worse, have you impose abuse on others.
I gathered and researched this data, mediated with the Grace of God through prayer as a benefit in my integrating discovered available digital information which would acquaint me with the overall content related to the health issues. I have found that God is ALWAYS available when we are Reverent in our Asking, open-minded in our Listening, and, Assertive in our Choice of Action. Doctors did not expect me to survive birth. In the past 25 years, medical and health "experts" have cautioned or directed me, more than 14 times, that I had little time left to live, or would die ... because THEY did not understand my challenges, were not motivated to professionally diagnose, or, chose to superstitiously recall as absolute previously flawed training. I am still alive beyond age 70. With the assistance of God, my Personality, the research and a lack of dismissiveness of a number of persons ... I have found resolution to numerous health challenges. This has enabled me to assist many others who had been abandoned, brainwashed, or traumatized. May my experience and successes also empower you. This is one document which you may find helpful as a BASIC introduction to maintaining and improving YOUR health.
